.TH KPROF 10.1 .SH NAME kprof \- display kernel profiling data .SH SYNOPSIS .B kprof .I kernel .I kpdata .SH DESCRIPTION .I Kprof presents the data accumulated by the kernel profiling device, .IR kprof (3) . The symbol table is taken from the file .IR kernel , the executable file of the operating system kernel that was profiled. The data file .I kpdata is usually a copy of .BR /dev/kpdata from the device running the profiling kernel. .PP The symbol table is read and correlated with the profile data.
